Dual Recorder ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Dual Recorder mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.

Information Collection and Use

Dual Recorder is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data whatsoever. The App operates entirely on your device with no server-side component.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
• Usage statistics, analytics, or behavioral data
• Advertising identifiers or tracking cookies
• Any content you create (videos, photos)

Camera and Microphone Access

The App requires permission to access your device's camera and microphone. These permissions are used exclusively for the core functionality of recording video and audio. Camera and microphone data is processed in real-time on your device and is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with any external service, server, or third party.

Photo Library Access

The App requests permission to access your Photo Library solely to save videos and photos you record. All media is saved directly to your device's local storage via Apple's Photos framework. We never read, analyze, upload, or access any existing content in your Photo Library beyond saving new recordings.

Data Storage

All application data is stored locally on your device:

• Video and photo recordings are saved to your device's Photos library using Apple's PHPhotoLibrary framework.
• App preferences (such as video quality settings and grid overlay preferences) are stored using iOS UserDefaults, which is local device storage that is not synced or transmitted.
• No cloud storage, no server syncing, no backups are performed by the App.

Third-Party Services

Dual Recorder does not integrate, embed, or communicate with any third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel)
• Advertising networks (e.g., AdMob, Facebook Ads)
• Crash reporting services (e.g., Crashlytics, Sentry)
• Social media SDKs
• Any other data collection or tracking tools

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect any data, there is no data to share.

Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age. The App is suitable for use by individuals of all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations by design, as no data collection occurs.

Security

Since all data remains on your device and no data is transmitted over the internet by our App, the security of your data is governed by the security measures of your iOS device, including device encryption, passcode protection, and biometric authentication.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have rights regarding your personal data. Since we do not collect any personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied. You maintain complete control over all content created with the App through your device's native Photos and Settings applications.
